Modern Quilt Guild 2014 Quilts of the Month
Also on display at QuiltCon 2015 were the Modern Quilt Guild‘s 2014 Quilts of the Month. Each month, members of the Modern Quilt Guild receive a free PDF quilt pattern designed by a fellow MQG member.
My apologies–somehow I came home without the month of June! But here are the rest of the months of 2014.
p.s. June–send me photos! 🙂
QuiltCon 2015: Michael Miller Spring Cotton Couture Fabric Challenge
The Michael Miller fabric challenge using their Spring Cotton Couture line produced an array of pastel and very spring colored quilts, as it should be! As usual the award winners for the category yard are at the bottom of the post.
We are nearing the end of our QuiltCon 2015 coverage, thought there are still probably 5 posts to go. Soon we will also be covering the Stitch Modern 2015 Show, the Joe Cunningham lecture at Piedmont Center of the Arts, and we have a couple new books to talk about as well as some quilters to highlight.
Enjoy!

QuiltCon 2015: Use of Negative Space part 2
And now Part 2 of the Use of Negative Space category from QuiltCon 2015, sponsored by APQS with the winners of the category at the end of the post. We still have a couple of categories and the special exhibitions to go, and some other non QuiltCon exhibitions, books to review, fabric to talk about, and quilters to meet. Stay tuned!
