Sayonara Again!

Many years ago I bid Adieu to The Plaid Portico as I passed the reins to Lisa Carey, and then when she returned it back to me after several years of new content, I didn’t want it to disappear off the web since it has so many quilts on it and still got many hits through links. Well, we now have a new person taking it on who I am sure will add lots of refreshing content. Mary Beth Simms is a second generation quilter residing in Nashville, Indiana and has been in the quilt fabric business for over a decade. I am going to let her tell you more about herself in her posts! She has some great things to share and access to lots of quilts and quilters.

In the meantime, as a parting post, here are some of the more recent quilts I’ve done in the last several years.

  1. I’m so happy that the Plaid Portico will continue on. It’s been a favorite of mine for years. It’s such a treat to see all the lovely quilts from shows all over the world. Thanks to you all for making it available to us all.

  2. sorry i didn’t read thoroughly enough.. I am happy to hear another person is taking the reins. I still refer to the quilt archives for inspiration – so many amazing and talented quilt artists have been introduced through this blog! Best wishes going forward.
