Welcome to The Plaid Portico!
The Plaid Portico started in 2013 by Carol Van Zandt as a venue to explore modern quilting. Primarily a photo blog, she posted photos of quilt exhibitions, and included spotlight articles on quilters and their work.
In 2019 she passed the hat to Lisa Carey, and now it is time to pass the hat again. Anyone interested in continuing, please contact Carol Van Zandt. The blog has a solid following mostly due to the amount of quilt photos posted here that have reference links, and is the reason I want someone to continue to keep it alive.
You can do what you want as long as it’s about quilting, hopefully modern quilting.
