Tokyo Rococo Update

Well an exciting week as I received the first Tokyo Rococo quilt from Deanne Quill of Creative Sewlutions!  Its beautiful, and beautifully done, and we were so excited to photograph it this weekend.  I met Deanne at Quilt Market and loved her patterns, big and modern and fresh, and was so glad she was willing and interested in using my fabric with her patterns.  And lickety split,  she made a quilt shortly after I sent her some yardage.  She will also have the “Aria” (tangerine and green) colorway of Tokyo Rococo in her store The Quilt Haus in New Braunfels, Texas (Austin/San Antonio area) and her patterns can be found there also or ordered online.    Tokyo Rococo starts shipping to stores in January/February.  This pattern of Creative Sewlutions is called “Gypsy”.

I’ll be putting up info and links on any patterns and projects made with Tokyo Rococo both here on the blog and on the website.  Our first quilt photo shoot attached below:

Also took some shots of the last fat quarters I put together from advance yardage before they got sent out.  I had a blast transforming my dining room into a cutting table,  and making up these little packages…can’t wait to see what people do with them, stay tuned!

  1. Carol,
Beautiful photographs! Thank you! Soooo glad you liked the quilt. Thanks to Wendy & Karen, too, for their reactions to it.
I can’t wait to play with the fabrics in your next line 🙂
