Quilt Market

Landing back here for two days and then off again to the Anderson Valley, but I MUST share a bit about quilt market.  So I shall post some photos which I might have to title later but will give you a taste anyway.  Of course it was visual overload looking at all the lovely fabrics, quilts and products made out of printed cottons.   The amount of booth creativity was amazing.  There were many designers with their own booth highlighting their brand and I got to speak to Anna Marie Horner who is absolutely LOVELY.  I told her I was signed up for Surtex  in May and I was committed to doing it several years in a row, and she said she had made a commitment herself to do it for 5 years in up and down times.  Excellent strategy then!  The floor is massive and I couldn’t get it all in one photo, but hopefully you can get a hint.  I shall tell more later, but for now, here are some pics….

  1. Whoa! What a visual feast!! And yet, from the “arial” view, it looks so neat and orderly! Not what I expected. Carol, I heard a rave review from Sophia about how you did, and I’m duly impressed! Rock on!
